I have found that the BC curriculum is really easy to access and use. Everything is easy to find and right in one spot for when I am putting together lessons and unit plans. I like that it is very student centered and focused and the goal is to get the students more involved in their learning instead of the teacher just standing at the front of the classroom teaching. It seems very flexible and left up to the teacher’s interpretations which allows for the teacher to take the curriculum and adapt it to the needs of the student. With the curriculum being well laid out, it is easy for any teacher to come in a check to make sure that the learning outcomes match with the content that is being taught. I really enjoy using it and I am glad it was so easy to navigate as this is the first time many of us are seeing school curriculum and learning how to work with it.
